the panther press
I formally served as Lead Designer and Social Media Editor for The Panther Press at Strath Haven High School, an award-winning newspaper recognized at the national level. I designed print and digital layouts and I shape the paper’s visual identity, contributing to a prestigious, student-led extracurricular program.

social media
One of my biggest contributions to the visual media of the Panther Press was creating social media posts that helped drive much of the traffic to our website. I focused on making posts that were fast, engaging, and detailed enough to give readers a reason to click through and read the full story. I also created an extensive guide for future staffers explaining how to create these posts efficiently using Adobe Express rather than Photoshop, which can be a much more time-consuming and difficult process. My goal was to create a system that future students could easily follow and use for years to come.
print design
For two years, I was responsible for designing covers and center spreads for the Panther Press. My work focused on creating visually engaging layouts that complemented the stories and captured readers’ attention. Several of these designs have been recognized at both the state and national levels.

posters
My poster designs are a more personal way for me to explore my design style, creativity, and visual ideas. These projects are often made for fun and give me the freedom to experiment with typography, composition, color, and different visual concepts. They showcase my design eye outside of more structured editorial work.
